About Marella

Marella is an actress from Palm Springs, CA and the daughter of two hard-working immigrants from the Philippines. She is also a proud member of the Elon BFA Music Theatre class of 2020. Her goal in life is to increase the representation of Asian Americans through media and storytelling.

 

Aside from acting, singing, and dancing, Marella loves to travel. During her college career, she has explored 5+ countries, including a semester in London studying acting and a month in Accra, Ghana studying traditional West African dance. Marella has adventured through roughly 15 countries in her lifetime and cannot wait to explore more of the world! She is a firm believer that traveling is the most important thing a person can do to feed their curiosity and recalibrate their empathy.
